I bought these on Amazon for my wife.I used my $25 gift certificate for using my amazon credit card. My wife liked the Jubilee pattern, so I paid a little more. They have another nice pattern at the local Lowes for $16. I paid $20. I dont know why they were $18 at first, then $20, then $18 again. That bugs me.
Anyway, my wife just tried these on and they look great. She will garden with them, but she would look good going out with them on for a walk in the Fall when the weather is more crisp - they are that good looking! The construction seems real good too.
By the way, Mechanix gloves is the same company that Ethel is...Mechanix makes some of the best work gloves. They make other ladies gloves, but the Ethel line looks more fashionable. So its a misperception that some lady named Ethel makes gloves.
I'll write more when she starts to use them in the yard...

These are great. The most comfortable ever. They would make a nice gift for a gardener. They fit very tight, so I got the large even though my hands are a medium. Whoever this Ethel is, she knows what she's doing.

These gloves give me a lot more fine control than other gloves and my hands never get moist from sweat. I have not found anything yet with this level of comfort. They are also the most attractive garden gloves, I get compliments on them all the time. I get about a year of hard use and washing out of them before they wear out.
